Does Salman Khan really deserve to be put in jail for killing a deer..okie i do unstan it was a black buck..an endangered species??We know a Bomabay bomb blast accused is given 6yrs so is killin a black buck equivalent to abetting the blast??On top of it we hear revered Mrs Maneka Gandhi remark he wasnt given enough as compared to his crime...come on did she really want to hang him for tht folly commited some 9 yrs back!!!!Now thats wat we call goin over the edge..Justice delayed is justice denied both for the accused and the accuser...Now what of the trauma he has been suffering all these years...We all are aware of his acts of kindness be it in old age homes or orphanages..So its proved that he is a different man now..I guess the purpose of justice is to reform a person ..so isnt the purpose solved??why not just ask him to serve society for a year or two??Whatever it is I believe he deserves better.

Agreed that punishment is given to reform a person, but how do u kno salman khan is repenting. Any man in his situation wud do what he is doing now. U mentioned a change in him since the incident .. i cudnt find nething ... he is still makin movies n njoyin lif. i personally think that being such a big star he has social n public responsibility. Where were his senses when he went out killing. Had there been a normal person in place of salman, he wudnt had ne chance of getting bail. i think he should b punished like others n be a precedence for other, of his stature to be cautious. Every1 is equal before The Law. Salman khan still drinks and njoys lif being drunk. black buck killin incident occured in 1998 and Salman Khan's jeep runs over pavement dwellers while he was drunk, this happened in 2002
okay gr8 points there....though I have some reservations, I completely support you on the points that though barbaric, the action does not stand equal to bomb blasts. I think he killed the black buck for food. Isnt that what predators do naturally?
Of course he's not repenting n stuff...but anyways a country like ours can do with some enforced social work...how about he being asked to use his surplus money flow to take care of primary education of 'n' number of poor students instead of boozing with it!!!
u r talkin about salman rite a gr8 personality ..a peoples actor....a humanitarian.....sumtimes being a celeb can have its disadvan.....i diotn thnk tht if a normal person had commmited what salman has done who wouldnt have face such harsh treatment....its juss tht LAW AND SALMAN.....juss doesnt add up..
wat salman got free, out on bail , a normal person wud have been in tihar jail for killing an endangered species.
To say it all our holy law is so smoothly corrupt and our countries faith lies in the hands of insane inhuman murderers, who win the vote bank under the name of religious sentiments shouting slogans openly of Hindutva.
Lets do a comparative analysis here and see who deserves what:
1) Salman khan killed a black buck and rammed his car over the footpath and killed 3 slum dwellers. Atleast in this instance it was an accident.
2) Big fishes involved in Naroda patiya masaccre in Gujrat killing thousands and making hundreds homeless. But this wasnt accident, it was carried out with a smart motive behind to comeback into power strongly.
